Materials: Natural woods, composites, hard plastics

Recommended RPM: 16,000-18,000 (max 24,000)

These bits are very versatile for use in cutting through hard woods, plastics, and even materials such as solid surface counter tops. The slow spiral design is meant for better chip ejection in hard materials. The up cut design is for a better surface finish and provides the best control with hand or table routing.

  • TOOL SPECS: Solid carbide, up cut slow spiral with 1/2" cutting diameter, 1/2" shank, 1-1/2" cutting length, and 4" overall length for use in routers with a 1/2" collet.
  • UP CUT SLOW SPIRAL: Combining up cut and slow spiral design ensures a cleaner finish and improved chip removal, making it ideal for cutting through dense hardwoods efficiently.
  • HIGH FEEDS: The three-flute design enables higher feed rates, increasing cutting efficiency and productivity for faster results, especially on CNC machines.
  • UP CUT: Ideal for smooth finishes and rapid chip removal. Up cut spirals create a clean edge on the side of the material that is farthest from the router.
  • HELIX: The upward cutting action removes chips efficiently, especially in deep cuts. The spiral helix ensures clean, crisp cuts while outperforming standard straight bits.
  • MACHINES: Ideal for use on CNC machines where increased feed rates can take full advantage of the three flutes. Will also provide improved cut quality in hand fed operations with proper RPM.
