Terms of Sale

These Terms of Sale govern the purchase of goods from CNC Router Store, a division of Mikon Machinery Group Inc. ("we", "us"). They apply to orders placed through www.cncrouterstore.ca and to orders placed with us by email, telephone or purchase order. Your use of the website itself is governed separately by our Terms of Service.

1. Prices and currency

All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Sales tax is applied at checkout based on the destination. Prices reflect our suppliers' current published pricing and may change without notice. The price that applies to your order is the price confirmed at the time we accept it.

2. Orders and acceptance

An order placed through the website is an offer to purchase. Our acknowledgement email confirms that we have received your order; it is not acceptance. A contract is formed when we accept your order, which occurs when we dispatch the goods or otherwise confirm acceptance in writing. We may decline or cancel an order, in whole or in part, including where an item is unavailable, where pricing or product information was published in error, or where we are unable to verify payment or delivery details.

3. Availability and supplier-shipped items

Many items in our catalogue are held at our suppliers rather than in our own warehouse. Where a product page indicates that an item is in stock at our supplier, it typically ships within 3 to 7 business days. Stock counts are maintained in good faith but may not reflect real-time availability. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you to confirm whether you would prefer to wait for restocking or receive a refund for that item. See our Shipping Policy.

4. Payment

Payment is due in full at the time of purchase unless a credit account has been established with us and payment terms have been agreed in writing. Orders placed on an approved credit account are invoiced according to those agreed terms.

5. Delivery, title and risk

Delivery times quoted are estimates and are not guaranteed. Shipping is charged at checkout based on weight, dimensions and destination; the majority of orders over CAD $300.00 before tax qualify for free shipping. Risk of loss or damage in transit remains with us until the goods are delivered to you. Title to the goods passes to you upon our receipt of payment in full. Claims for goods damaged or lost in transit are handled as set out in our Shipping Policy.

6. Quotations and purchase orders

Written quotations are valid for 30 days from issue unless a different period is stated on the quotation, and remain subject to availability and to supplier price changes. Where you place an order by purchase order, these Terms of Sale apply and take precedence over any conflicting pre-printed terms on your purchase order document, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.

7. Cancellations

You may cancel an order at any time before it has been dispatched. Once an order has been dispatched, our Refund Policy applies. Items that we order in specially for you may not be cancellable once the order has been placed with our supplier; where that is the case, we will tell you before you place the order.

8. Returns

Returns are governed by our Refund Policy: 30 days from receipt to request a return, a return shipping label supplied by us, and approved refunds issued to your original payment method. The exceptions listed in that policy apply.

9. Warranty

We honour valid manufacturer warranty claims submitted within 30 days of receipt, as set out in our Shipping Policy. Cutting tools are consumable items: normal wear, edge dulling, and damage resulting from incorrect feeds, speeds, workholding or material are not warranty defects. We give no warranty that a given tool will be suitable for a particular application; selection remains your responsibility.

10. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms of Sale limits liability that cannot be limited at law. Subject to that, our total liability arising out of any order is limited to the amount you paid for the goods giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost production, machine downtime, or damage to workpieces or equipment. The limitations in our Terms of Service also apply.

11. Governing law

These Terms of Sale are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
