The best bit for plastic projects, made from solid carbide and designed to utilize a shear cutting action to provide a smooth cut. This design will also decrease the build up of material on the cutting edge. The spiral flute outperforms traditional o-flute straight bits by providing the absolute best cut and superior chip ejection.

  • TOOL SPECS: Solid carbide, up cut, o-flute spiral with 2 flutes, 1/4" cutting diameter, 1/4" shank, 3/4" cutting length, and 2-1/2" overall length for use in routers with a 1/4" collet.
  • O-FLUTE: The oval shaped flute allows for rapid chip removal away from the cutting edge, preventing soft materials from sticking or gumming up the cutting edge.
  • UP CUT SPIRAL: Ideal for smooth finishes and rapid chip removal. Up cut spirals create a clean edge on the side of the material that is farthest from the router.
  • HELIX: The spiral helix gently sweeps through the material, ensuring clean, crisp cuts while outperforming standard straight bits.
  • MATERIALS: Performs best in plastic and aluminums, especially in soft materials where melting is a concern. Also performs well in solid woods.
