Hard plastics — acrylic, Plexiglass, polycarbonate, PVC, HDPE, ABS, and polystyrene — cut differently than wood or aluminum. Run the wrong geometry and you get melted edges, chip welding, or stress cracks instead of a clean cut. This collection is solid carbide bits geared specifically for that material, with flute geometry designed to clear chips fast enough to keep heat from building up at the cutting edge.
These get used most in sign making, display fabrication, and general plastic processing — milling, engraving, and shaping work where the finished edge quality is part of the spec, not just a nice-to-have.
If you're cutting a hard plastic that's not listed here, let us know the material and thickness and we can point you to the right bit.
