Router bits for solid surface material — Corian and similar acrylic-resin countertop materials — used for trimming, edge profiling, and joinery in countertop and casework fabrication.
Solid surface behaves more like a dense plastic than wood or stone, which means standard wood-profile bits tend to leave a duller edge or visible burn marks at higher feed rates. These are sized and profiled specifically for that material, including bevel and round-over profiles for finished edge work.
Used most by countertop fabricators and cabinet shops doing joinery and edge-finishing on solid surface panels.
