Panel bits were created to be used with a pilot guide to assist when cutting out holes in thin panels.
- TOOL SPECS: Carbide-tipped, single flute, pilot plunge point panel bit with 1/2" cutting diameter, 1-1/4" cutting length, 1/2" shank, and 3-5/8" overall length for use with 1/2" collets.
- APPLICATION: Designed specifically for window and door cutouts in industrial markets, RV manufacturing, and construction. For use in a factory setting or on the jobsite. Handheld router only.
- PLUNGE POINT: 'V' shaped tip allows rapid plunging through panels or siding.
- PILOT GUIDE: Features a solid steel pilot guide for following panels, framing, or templates. Ensures a clean, straight cut that matches the shape being cut out.
- SINGLE FLUTE: Single flute bits provide excellent chip clearance for faster feed rates and higher material removal, improving efficiency and performance.
