These drills have all the attributes of the 803 series but with a larger 1/4” diameter center hole as requested by several industrial users. This bit is supplied with a 1/4” Taper Point Drill bit that allows better control when trying to make a gentle entry. These bits can also be used with the 1/4” Pilot Rod (supplied) in applications that follow a 1/4” pre-drilled guide hole. This series has proven to be very effective in soft, gummy materials such as King Starboard®. Can be re-sharpened or re-tipped.
